Fire Gutted 2 Houses in Kebon Jeruk

Two houses on Jalan Halimun, RT 05/03, Kelapa Dua Urban Village, Kebon Jeruk Sub-District, West Jakarta, were destroyed by fire, Thursday (5/15). No fatalities were reported, but the loss is reaching tens of millions rupiah.

Head of West Jakarta Fire and Disaster Handling Sub-Department Operational Section, Abdul Wahid, stated that the fire broke out at around 12.45 PM. As many as 17 fire trucks were sent to extinguish the fire which finally controlled around one hour later.
“Fire destroys two houses. We managed to extinguish the fire an hour later,” he said.
